Till Mostowlansky is Ambizione Research Fellow at the Department of Anthropology and Sociology, Graduate Institute Geneva. He is an anthropologist researching humanitarianism, infrastructure, mobility and Islam in contemporary Central Asia and its globally dispersed diasporic communities. Till has lectured at the University of Bern (2013 – 16) and at The University of Hong Kong (2017) and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Asia Research Institute, National University of Singapore (2016), and the Hong Kong Institute for the Humanities and Social Sciences, The University of Hong Kong (2017 – 18). He currently holds honorary appointments at the Universities of Sussex and Bern and at Monash University in Melbourne.
