Shijun He is an Associate Professor at Economics and Management School,Wuhan University. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Peking University. His research interests include the economic and financial organization in history; long-run economic development; institutional change and persistence. He is currently exploring the question on how the setup of Shanxi banks affected  the financial market integration in Qing Dynasty.
